This 'trial' section of the Tour-Tips site enables you to try the subscription features on a sample of the database and on a sample event.

The database only covers the year 2005, plus previous events in Georgia, but there is enough data for the database queries to be tested using any of the links under the 'database queries' heading in the left border.

Event stats and in-running stats are available for a sample tournament - the 2005 Tour Championship on the PGA Tour. Both links provide a wide variety of statistical tables which are produced each Monday morning before the tournament (Event Stats) and after the conclusion of each round during the tournament (In-Running stats).

The matchup listings for this event are also reproduced in the two common formats of listings by player name and listings by bookie.

There is also a sample of the 'Tour Stats' feature for the PGA Tour from April 2008, which includes a number of statistical categories not reported by the PGA Tour, plus 'corrections' to those statistical categories which take account of course difficulty, and each category is customisable in terms of sample period.

It is not possible to provide working samples of the players and event profiles at the moment, though it is hoped that will be rectified shortly.
